Program Manager
 Beth Banford
Beth Banford, MSA, BS, RN, is the Program Manager for Weight Loss Surgery. She has worked for Kettering Health Network
since 2005. She brings over 20 years of clinical, operational, and managerial experience to Weight Loss Surgery. It
is her goal to provide patients with highly trained staff that will assist them during their preoperative and
postoperative needs to achieve individual success.
Office Coordinator
 Cindy Hubbard
Cindy Hubbard is the Office Coordinator for Weight Loss Surgery. Cindy is the first person the patient comes in contact with during their visit at WLS. She is responsible for answering the phones, scheduling pre and post operative appointments, as well as many other front office duties.
Licensed Psychologist
 John Wade
Dr. John Wade is a licensed psychologist and has been a part of the Weight Loss Surgery team since 2007. He earned his Doctorate degree from The Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and brings nearly 20 years of experience in evaluation, assessment and therapy to a bariatric program that is proud of its comprehensive approach to weight loss treatment. He is responsible for preoperative psychological education and evaluation and postoperative psychological support.
Exercise Physiologist
 Andrew Purdy
Andrew Purdy received a B.S. in Exercise Biology from WSU in March of 2009. He joined the Weight Loss Surgery program in July of 2009. His education and past experience working with sports enhancement programs has provided him with the necessary skills he needs to design individual exercise programs for our patients and encourage routine exercise for their success.
Licensed Social Worker
 Deann Gallatin
DeAnn Gallatin is a Licensed Social Worker who provides education, conducts the pre-surgical psychological evaluations, and facilitates support groups. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton. DeAnn joined the Weight Loss Surgery team in 2007 and brings over 20 years experience in education, evaluation, assessment and support to the Bariatric program.
Registered Dietitian
 Marta Wright
Marta Wright is a Registered Dietician with the Weight Loss Surgery Program and is responsible for the nutrition care preoperatively and postoperatively. Marta received a B.S. in Medical Dietetics in 1987 from the Ohio State University. She has been working for Kettering Health Network since 1989 and has been working with Bariatric patients since the early 1990s.
 Missy Bizzarro
Missy Bizzarro is a Registered Dietitian for Weight Loss Surgery program and is responsible for the nutrition care preoperatively and postoperatively. Missy received a B.S. in Dietetics in 1997 from Bowling Green State University. She has been with Kettering Health Network since 2001 as a Clinical Dietitian and has been working exclusively with the Weight Loss Surgery program since 2007. She enjoys seeing the transformation in the patients she works with.
Bariatric Program Educator
 Ann B. Hunt
Ann Hunt received her BSN from Capital University in 1974 and her MSEd from the University of Dayton in 1983. Ann has been with the Weight Loss Surgery Program since 2004. She is a Certified Bariatric Nurse. Her role is to educate patients, families and their support systems on pre and post operative changes, patient responsibilities during their hospital stay, risks and benefits of Bariatric surgery and to help prepare them for the lifestyle changes that occur after surgery.
Registered Nurse (RN)
 Denise Dalla
Denise Dalla is the Clinical Bariatric R.N. for Weight Loss Surgery. She has over 20 years of critical care experience in the hospital setting. She will receive her B.S.N. from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2009. She has worked for Kettering Health Network since 1997 and has been working with Weight Loss Surgery since 2005. Denise is responsible for evaluating patients preoperatively as well as during their hospitalization. She also serves as a liaison between the Physicians, hospital staff, patients and their families.
