After serving ten years in the United States Air Force Tish began her career at Kettering Medical Center in 2002 as a clinical nurse manager. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University, and her Masters Degree in Health Services from California College of Health Sciences.
Tish is currently the Clinical Nurse Manager for 5 North Bariatrics and Precious Beginnings Home Care at Kettering Medical Center. Tish has expertise in several areas and brings a lot of diversity to the program. Her skills have allowed her to branch out to clinical specialties such as women’s health, neonatal nursing, homecare, med-surg and bariatrics.
“In the relatively short period of time that I have been involved with bariatrics, it has been a journey that has been both rewarding and enlightening. The positive impact that bariatric surgery can provide to a person’s life is astounding. I’m confident that since becoming a Center of Excellence we will be able to touch more lives then ever before.
